Transmission Electron Microscope

Product Specifications

An electron microscope is a microscope that uses a beam of accelerated electrons as a source of illumination. It is a special type of microscope having a high resolution of images, able to magnify objects in nanometres, which are formed by controlled use of electrons in a vacuum captured on a phosphorescent screen.

Technical Specifications

Product Specifications

SEM stands for scanning electron microscope. The SEM is a microscope that uses electrons instead of light to form an image.

Technical Specifications

Product Specifications

This is a powerful electron microscope that uses a beam of electrons to focus on a specimen producing a highly magnified and detailed image of the specimen. The magnification power is over 2 million times better than that of the light microscope, producing the image of the specimen which enables easy characterization of the image in its morphological features.

Microscope

Product Specifications

Reflection electron microscopy (REM) is now an advanced technique to study the surface structure of crystals with a resolutions of better than 1 nm, in which clear images of surface steps with 0.1 to 0.2 nm height is accessible.

Technical Specifications

Product Specifications

An X-ray microscope is an instrument used to produce enlarged images of samples illuminated with X-rays. There are two main principles of microscopes to be distinguished: full field microscopes and scanning microscopes. In full field microscopes the whole field of view is imaged to a detector plane at the same time. In scanning microscopes the sample is illuminated with a bright well focused spot scanning over the sample. The detector then measures the total intensity over time coming from the currently illuminated spot on the sample and the image is calculated from this data when the scanning process is finished.
